Two simple steps
TIDE requires only standard molecular biology reagents and procedures:

  • One pair of standard PCR reactions
  • One pair of standard capillary ("Sanger") sequencing reactions
With the two resulting raw sequencing files and a guide sequence, it only takes a few seconds to run the TIDE analysis with our dedicated web tool.
Clear visualization
The algorithm accurately reconstructs the spectrum indels from the sequence traces and reports the precise identity of the mutations and their frequencies in a few intuitive graphs and tables.

A quality control chart assists in the assessment of the validity of the results and all parameters can be adjusted in this interactive web tool until the spectrum is optimal.
